For starters, it just takes too much time. Manually going to your state's department of labor, such as Oregon BOLI, is time-consuming, not to mention you would need to do so every time there is an update to your state's or federal law. Typically there can be over 100 updates to posting requirements each year. Are you going to go to the DOL each time? That is why we send you the updates as soon as you need them, so all you need to do is print and post them.
Employment posters for the state where the employee works should be available to the employee. Most employers place them on websites accessible to the employees, usually where information is available regarding employee handbooks, policies, benefits, etc.
For any employers who choose to partner with GNSA, the price of the service will be built directly into your partnership proposal. For any employers who just want the service, after an initial setup fee of $16.00 the service costs just $8.00 a month, while your initial, all-in-one labor law poster will be shipped to you free. If you have multiple business locations that you need labor law posters for, or have a need for additional posters for additional languages, then additional costs will be added.
Upon signing up for the service, an all-in-one labor law poster will be shipped to you (at no additional cost) that is current and up-to-date with the federal and state laws that apply to your business. When the time comes to post an update, you will receive a call and an email containing the updated posting. Each year, on the anniversary of your sign-up date, you will receive a new, all-in-one labor law poster that is current and up-to-date as well.
